Description:
This is Russian pianism at its best. Boris Bellman was born in 1948 and is famous as a master teacher of the art of the Russian pianist. He studied at the Moscow Conservatory under Oborin, moved to Israel in 1973, and settled in the United States in 1979, where he has been performing and teaching piano at Indiana University and Yale University, earning a worldwide reputation as a great teacher. He is known as a specialist of Prokofiev's music, but he also shows his matured and supreme skill in Brahms's late pieces. This is a true orthodoxy. With a deep tone, plenty of singing, and severe emotion, he depicts the world of Brahms's later years. King International
