Ulf Schneider is coming! Ulf Schneider has won first prize and special prizes at the International Chamber Music Competitions in Osaka and Melbourne and the German Music Competition in Bonn with his "Trio Jean Paul," which he formed with Martin Rehr, principal cellist of the Berlin Philharmonic, as well as with his teacher He has also participated in the quartet of Thomas Zehetmayr, a renowned German violinist. He is also a professor at the Hanover University of Music and Drama, where he has trained many influential musicians. The collection includes various pieces for violin and piano (including arrangements) inspired by "night" themes such as serenades, nocturnes, lullabies, and more. From masterpieces such as Tchaikovsky's "Melancholy Serenade" and Elgar's "Night Songs" to rare repertoire including three world premiere recordings, the program is a collection of ephemeral yet beautiful "night" music.
